Mes études de Maîtrise

En septembre 2000, j'ai gradué du programme de Maîtrise en Art (M.A.) de l'Institut des Études Pédagogiques de l'Ontario(OISE)-Université de Toronto.  Ma maîtrise me spécialise dans le domaine de l'éducation en langues secondes avec un intérêt pour les applications pédagogiques des ordinateurs.  Comme but personnel, et afin de rejoindre le plus de chercheurs et enseignants possible, j'ai choisi d'écrire ma thèse en anglais, ma langue seconde. Ma thèse a pour titre : E-mail and learning to write in French: The influence of e-mail on the attitudes toward writing and the writing development of Grade 2/3 early French immersion students.   

J'ai travaillé sous la supervision des Docteurs Antoinette Gagné et Miles Turnbull. Je voudrais en profiter pour les remercier pour leur incroyable support, et ce concernant tous les aspects de mes études.

Je voudrais également remercier ma directrice, de même que ma directrice-adjointe, pour tout leur support au cours des deux dernières année.  J'aimerais remercier tous les parents, élèves et professeurs qui ont accepté de participer à mon projet de recherche. Je ne pourrais connaître le succès sans votre appui!

Enfin, j'aimerais remercier toute ma famille et mes amis pour leur support et leur confiance en mon potentiel!!!  J'ai réussi!

La voici enfin, la version électronique anglaise de mon rapport de recherche.  Je le publie en 2 versions:  la premiere version est PDF, et présente le rapport de recherche complet (180 pages). La deuxième version est abrégée, présentée sur le logiciel Powerpoint 2000 (55 slides).  

Je publie mon travail afin de le rendre le plus accessible possible à tous les collègues chercheurs et enseignants.  S'il vous plait n'abusez pas de ma générosité et laissez-moi savoir vos commentaires au niveau du contenu.

My Master's Studies

In September 2000, I graduated from the Master's of Art (M.A.) program The Ontario Institute For Studies in Education (OISE)-University of Toronto.  My Masters Degree has a specialization in Second Language Education, with a particular interest in Computer technology and applications.  A a personal goal and a way to reach as many researchers and educators, I decided to write my thesis in English, my second language.  My thesis is entitled: E-mail and learning to write in French: The influence of e-mail on the attitudes toward writing and the writing development of Grade 2/3 early French immersion students.   

I was working under the supervision of Dr. Antoinette Gagné and Dr. Miles Turnbull. I would like to extend very warm thanks to them, for their amazing support in every aspect of my graduate work.

Thank you to my principal and vice-principal for supporting this project.  I would also like to thank the parents, students, teachers for accepting to participate in this research project. I couldn't do it without you!

Finally, I would like to thank everyone in my family as well as my friends for their support and their trust in my abilities...  I did it!

Here it is finally, the electronic English version of my research report.  I have published it in 2 formats: The first version is a PDF format, and presents a complete version of my research report (180 pages).  The second one is a summary of my research presented as a PowerPoint presentation (55 slides).

I have published it to increase its accessibility to my fellow teachers and researchers.  Please don't abuse of my generosity and reference my work properly should you make use of it in anyway.
